Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) has forgotten his past comments and actions that are an acknowledgement that the Obamacare “horror stories” are true.

On February 26, 2014, Senator Reid stood on the Senate floor and dismissed the negative criticisms about Obamacare.

Fox News’ quoted Reid as saying, “There’s plenty of horror stories being told. All of them are untrue, but they’re being told all over America.”

Among “all of the horror stories” that have been told are individuals and congressional staffers expressing disappointment over losing their current insurance under Obamacare.

CBS reported that after President Obama signed an executive order allowing individuals to keep their current insurance for at least a year, Reid told reporters that individuals had nothing to worry about and “everything” would be fixed.

And one group that Reid made sure wouldn’t have anything “to worry about” were a group of his staffers.

CNN reported that Reid used a provision within Obamacare that allows Congressional members to allow “their committee and leadership staffers” to keep their current insurance plan.

However, CNN also noted Reid’s statement in September in which he said, “Let’s stop these really juvenile political games-the one dealing with health care for Senators and House members and our staff.

We are going to be part of exchanges, that’s what the law says and we’ll be part of that.”

Despite Reid’s statement, he decided that some of his staff didn’t have to take part in the exchanges.

Yet, Reid didn’t acknowledge any of this during his February 26, 2014, speech on the Senate floor. Because after all, it is a part of  “all of the horror stories” being told about Obamacare that Reid says are “untrue.”
